The Holding Redlich Indigenous Scholarship was established with a gift from Holding Redlich and is awarded to Indigenous students who are enrolling in the Juris Doctor and are experiencing disadvantaged circumstances.

Benefits

This scholarship provides a living allowance of AUD $10,000 per year for three years.

In the first semester of enrolment, the living allowance will be split into an establishment allowance of AUD $1500 paid shortly after enrolment and a half-yearly instalment of AUD $3500 paid in April. For the remaining duration, the living allowance will be paid in half-yearly instalments of AUD $5000 in April and September.

Eligibility

To be considered for this scholarship, you must:

Be an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person by descent, identify as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person, and be accepted as such by the community in which you live or have lived

Have applied for the Juris Doctor through Graduate Access Melbourne (GAM) under the 'Disadvantaged socio-economic circumstances' category and submitted the Disadvantaged Socio-economic Circumstances Supplementary Form
