The Leslie Eric Paddle Scholarship in Neurology was established with a gift from Leslie Eric Paddle and is awarded to graduate researchers undertaking research in the field of neurology.
Benefits
A fortnightly stipend of AUD $39,500 per year (2026 full-time student rate) for up to 3.5 years. The stipend may be indexed annually and includes limited paid sick, parenting and partner leave.
Eligibility
To be considered for this scholarship, you must:
Have received an offer for, or be currently enrolled in, a graduate research degree in the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences in the year for which the scholarship is awarded
Be undertaking research in the field of neurology
Not hold a Research Training Program (RTP) Scholarship (Stipend) or a Melbourne Research Scholarship (Stipend).

The scholarship is offered to the eligible candidates(s) ranked highest based on their faculty scholarship score. In the event of a tie, the scholarship will be split equally.
