Neuroscience
Student's research must focus on one of the following neuroscience areas: multiple sclerosis, neurocognitive disorders (and their diagnosis and/or treatment), environmental and genetic control of brain development. and/or neuro-immunology
Based on academic achievement
Based on two letters of support from referees familiar with the applicant's academic and/or research achievements
The student must be presenting their research findings (oral or poster presentation) at a national or International meeting.
Given to students with 1-2 years of training in a neuroscience or neuropsychiatry research lab
The award will support research conducted in whole or in part in the Neurochemical Research Unit in the Department of Psychiatry
The award will be used toward travel costs associated with attending the meeting to present their research findings
Travel must be undertaken within 12 months of receiving notification of this award
Open to Canadian citizens.
