Nominee must be conducting research in the area of pharmaceutical sciences
Awarded on the basis of superior academic achievement (equivalent to first class standing at the U of A - GPA of 3.5 or greater)
When considering an application from a student who has held the award previously, the selection committee will take research output in the form of publications and presentations/abstracts into consideration
Preference will be given to an international student
A student may apply, in open competition, to hold the scholarship for up to four additional years
In considering a student for the scholarship, the selection committee may take financial need into consideration
