Other eligibility requirements

SMU Steven Miller Scholarship is available to local and foreign undergraduates studying full-time in the School of Computing and Information Systems, Singapore Management University.

Eligibility Criteria

• Full-time undergraduates from the School of Computing and Information Systems
• Any nationality
• Outstanding academic results (minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00)
• Good leadership skills
• With demonstrated financial need (not exceeding the gross monthly household per capita income in accordance with the prevailing income level for government-funded bursaries)
• Preference will be given to financially needy students who have used all available loan/subsidy schemes of up to 90% of the tuition fees payable by Singaporean students

Benefits

• The quantum of the scholarship varies on a case-by-case basis
• Tenable for one year of study
• The scholarship will be used to pay for the recipients’ tuition fees

Conditions of Award

• The Recipients are expected to assist in activities of the School of Computing and Information Systems when required
• Singaporean students may be in concurrent receipt of a government bursary, subject to fulfilment of its eligibility criteria
• The Recipient must not hold any other awards of similar nature during the tenure of the Award, except with the prior written approval of the University
