The British Pakistani Academic Futures Scholarships are available for applicants who are ordinarily resident in the United Kingdom, who are British Pakistani and who are applying to any full-time and part-time DPhil and master's courses, at Oxford. You must have been Ordinarily Resident in the UK for three years before the start date of the course for which you hold an offer. This residence must not have been for the main purpose of receiving full time education. An exception to this is if you have been temporarily resident outside of the UK for the purpose of taking up temporary employment and would have been resident in the UK but for the temporary employment.
These scholarships have been made possible through the support of funding partners from across the University, colleges and beyond.
The scholarship covers course fees and provides a grant for living costs. Awards are made for the full duration of your fee liability for the agreed course.
You will be automatically considered for scholarship eligibility when you apply for the relevant course at this institution
All eligible applicants will be considered for this scholarship regardless of which college (if any) you state as your preference on the graduate application form. However, it may be necessary to transfer successful applicants between colleges for the scholarship to be taken up.
This scholarship is not open to applications from candidates who hold deferred offers for 2026-27.
Selection is expected to take place in June 2026.
