Other eligibility requirements

The Kingston University Postgraduate Progressions Scholarship offers a 15% reduction in postgraduate tuition fees for undergraduate students progressing to a 2025/2026 postgraduate degree (taught or research) with Kingston University.

To be considered, you must:

  • Have received an offer to study a postgraduate taught or research degree (including MRes and MPhil or PhD*) in the academic year, either full-time or part-time 
  • Have been awarded a Kingston University undergraduate degree in the 2024/25 academic year, including degrees awarded via partner institutions.

Additional Notes:

  • PhD Students: Eligible for 15% off first year’s fees. A 10% alumni discount applies in subsequent years (subject to terms).
  • Architecture students: If progressing to MArch after a year in industry, you remain eligible for the 15% discount.

The 15% discount does not apply to the following courses:

  • MMid / MSc Midwifery
  • PGCE
  • Post-qualifying Social Work (e.g. ASW, PG Cert, short courses)
  • Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
  • Graduate Diploma Creative Practice
  • Distance learning programmes

A 10% alumni discount may be available for students on these courses instead.

You will be automatically considered for scholarship eligibility when you apply for the relevant course at this institution

There is no need to apply separately. If you meet the eligibility criteria, the scholarship will be automatically applied as a credit note against your fees invoice.  

The Kingston University Finance Team makes the final decision on discount eligibility.
