Open to UK and International students.

The School of Modern Languages and Cultures (SMLC) will award two Master's scholarships to an outstanding applicant wishing to commence full-time study on our one-year taught MA in Translation and Cultures or MA in Modern Languages and Cultures.

The scholarship is intended to facilitate access to Master's level study in Modern Languages and Cultures for academically gifted students who may otherwise experience difficulty in progressing to postgraduate study. For the successful candidate, the award will be conditional on acceptance of a place of study. The award will be arranged directly with the University's Student Finances service. If the fee for the course is less (e.g. because the student qualifies for a Warwick alumni discount), the level of the scholarship will be adjusted accordingly.

Eligibility Criteria:

Eligible courses are:

MA in Translation and Cultures
MA in Modern Languages and Cultures

Please note:

The scholarships are for full-time study only.
Students domiciled in the UK as well as international students are eligible to apply. However, the scholarships are capped (as above) at home fees level.
The scholarships cannot be deferred, or transferred to another course outside the School of Modern Languages and Cultures.
You must be self-funding.
You must have (or be expected to attain) a First or good 2.i (or international equivalent) for your undergraduate degree. Applications are welcomed from students who consider Master's study as a stepping-stone towards doctoral study, though this is not a prerequisite.
The School of Modern Languages and Cultures values equality, diversity and inclusion.
