Academic excellence
The Summer Academic Experience Courses (SAEC) offer pupils from around the world the unique opportunity to experience courses taught in the Scottish academic tradition by current academic staff. Students will get to study an academic subject of their choice, whilst also developing their academic research and writing skills. Students on these courses must have a good level of English.
Students will receive a student ID card and will have free access to our world-class facilities, including the library and newly redeveloped sports centre.
Summer Academic Experience Course (SAEC) applicants applying to the Cinema, Ideas and Society Course and the Sustainable Development Course, can apply to the following Scholarships:

Two Partial Worldwide Scholarship covering £3,425
Six Partial Worldwide Scholarship covering £1,141
There is one full-funded tuition fee scholarship, and eight part-funded tuition fee scholarships for the duration of the SAEC programme. These scholarships are awarded to deserving students who are academically excellent and who can show financial need for the award. These scholarships are only for students applying to the Cinema, Ideas and Society Course and the Sustainable Development Course.
