This non-repayable scholarship provides a £18,730 contribution towards tuition fees for an Overseas fee-paying student on one of our Chemistry taught MSc programmes.

Award will be made on the basis of academic excellence. Assessment criteria include degree results (obtained or predicted), referee support, any relevant publications or presentations, and the motivation demonstrated in your personal statement.

This scholarship is available only to applicants ineligible for Home fees, and the award is conditional upon enrolment on the course.

One scholarship is available for 2026/27 entry.

Eligibility: Applicants for Chemistry taught MSc courses who are eligible for Overseas fee status (see more information here). You must have received an offer of place on the course by 31 March 2026 to qualify.

Please note that students applying to our Global Decarbonisation and Climate Change MSc courses are not eligible for this scheme. Such students may instead apply for the STEM Connect Scholarship, which is designed specifically for those programmes.
