Valpo offers the Dr. Hugh McGuigan Scholarship to recognize leadership and academic achievement among international students. Eligible applicants must meet GPA, visa, and enrollment requirements.

Eligibility/Requirements

  • Full-time, degree-seeking international students on F-1 or J-1 visas who are sophomores, juniors, seniors, or graduate students;
  • Completed at least 2 semesters at Valparaiso University;
  • Possess a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 (undergraduate) or 3.5 (graduate) when applying;
  • Exhibit leadership qualities
