The university and its academic colleges, departments, and campuses award scholarships to international students.
The WSU general scholarship application is one application for hundreds of departmental and program awards. International students are encouraged to apply. However, it is important to note that application decisions are not made until just a few weeks before fall semester begins, and highly performing, new international students have historically not received any more than $5,000. Therefore, students should apply with the expectation that if awarded any scholarships, it will be an “extra bonus.” These scholarships should be seen as supplemental to the total fees paid.
