Studying at Carleton as an International student
I have made so many memories and cherish every part of my journey at Carleton, right now I'm pursuing my second year of studies and don't regret choosing Carleton University because of it's community and fellowship environment. Even as an International student, I got to meet and connect with amazing people and staff, making my transition to Canada and University enjoyable.

From a returning International Student.
I did my undergraduate degree at Carleton University in Communications and media studies. As an international student, I will admit I felt lonely for a month in first year. However, Carleton is set up so that you are not alone for too long. I found other like minded (and sometimes different) people through clubs, faith groups, international hangouts and academic circles. Carleton was the first place to make me, an international student feel like I was on a level playing field with citizens and it offered me my first "real" job. Currently, I am in my Masters in Communications, working as a teaching assistant and a part-time student fundraiser and I am thinking, I may stick around a bit longer even after my degree :).

Why I chose Carleton
I did my undergrad at Carleton University in Public Affairs and Policy Management and could not recommend it more. No only is it situated in the countries capital city but you are surrounded by opportunity. I found that Carleton provided the support I needed while I navigated my next steps. It also is a University that promotes a sense of community and support.
