Great and Inspiring School
Choosing to study in Glasgow Caledonian University, Glasgow, has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. GCU has refined me into a bold and industrious person who is not afraid to pursue her aspirations. I now see opportunities not limitations in any situation I find myself. I recommend Glasgow Caledonian University, Glasgow to any home and international student who aspires for positive impact on both his/her education, profession, career, personal development and humanitarian works.

Studying at GCU was a great experience for immersing yourself in a new culture and country. I fell in love with Scotland and made great friends with my classmates , however they were all from the same country as me - GCU recruits heavily for postgraduates in health sciences from North America. As for the academics, this was a mixed bag. We had very little face to face time with lecturers and never went into much depth during lectures. 90% of the course is independent learning, where you spend hours teaching yourself about the course hoping you will come out with the appropriate knowledge, it's very unclear what your £12,000 fees go towards when no one is aiding you. If you enjoy lots of free time and the pressure of writing papers for 100% of your grade, with no exams to test your practical knowledge, GCU will work well for you, otherwise I would recommend looking elsewhere.

Review of Caledonian University
it`s a good university but one should expand beyond it to look for more opportunities and gain more experience.

GCU- Relaxed but educational.
Studying at Glasgow Caledonian University has been quite an experience so far. During my first year, I stayed at the uni halls (Caledonian Court) where I met many other students who had just started their studies as well and I gained new friends quickly. Glasgow is a great place to live, the city is not too big nor too small and the night life is probably the best in Scotland. I've had a pretty good two years here so far. One thing that students should take note on, is that there is not much class. I study business, and I only have around 10 hours of uni per week. This sounds pretty good, but in all honesty I feel that I have too much free time. Other than that, it is an alright place to study. (other than the weather)

Glasgow the Great!
Studying abroad has been one of my best experiences ever. I met many students at my host university and working with them was great. The teachers were very helpful too. I enjoyed studying at Glasgow Caledonian University. Important advice: keep your goal in mind, which is passing all of the subjects at your host university. Maybe you will get a little distracted because there will be plenty of other fun things to do, but stay focused. It will always work in your favor. Scottish people are very very friendly, so don't hesitate to ask them for help if you need it. Last but not least, ENJOY your time abroad and explore the city/country/culture while you're there. It is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, so make the most of it!!!

Experience of a Lifetime
I am so happy that I chose Glasgow Caledonian University for my year of international exchange. I have had the best experience here in Glasgow and one of the reasons I have enjoyed it so much is because GCU has an incredible sense of student life. There are so many events and opportunities to get involved in the student life here which is a great way to get used to the new culture and to meet new people. The most important advice I'd give someone thinking of studying at GCU would be to do it. Not only is GCU a fantastic place to study, but Glasgow itself is an amazing city. You won't regret it.
