Business is a progressing career with new updates and new dimensions on tackling business differently every few years. I have been in a family import-export business since quite long and felt the need of getting used to the norms of the business arena. This course appealed to me because it offered cost for quality and an environment as beautiful as New Zealand.

Impressive Course

When I first stepped out of Auckland airport, I thought Auckland would be the same as UK or Canada with their busy lifestyle and not much time to do other activities. My apprehensions were partly right as the busy lifestyle is what I get to experience during week days but the weekends are so much better. Life comes to a halt when it is a weekend and it is perfectly alright whether I spend all day at beach because everything is closed on weekends. I do miss the lifestyle which I used to experience back in Pakistan which was a perfect blend of work and enjoyment even on weekdays. At least I did not have to study and do part time job every day like a workaholic. My advice would be to try adjusting with the new life style if you want to do well in New Zealand.

My friend introduced me to Lincoln University as he has been living and working in Christchurch for several years. Upon his reference I discovered that the area boasts two of the 8 state owned universities in New Zealand. I chose Lincoln University over the University of Canterbury as a deliberate choice due to the former's amazing and unchallenged reputation in the area of studies where I wanted to pursue my career. Lincoln University is the smallest of all universities in New Zealand but does not compromise on quality of education. In fact, being a small university has its own advantage. Every class has fewer students and hence the students get more individual attention from teachers. The majority of students in this university come from Asia.

I am enjoying my study experience as Lincoln University assists their students at each step to make them professionally and academically strong. They provide students the flexible learning opportunity and this flexibility promotes easy learning at home. I would advice students to choose course according to your interest and in the university which has courses that best meets your requirements. I always wanted to study agriculture and there could be no better place than Lincoln University to study amid the green fields. The field visits are highly enjoyable and more like a picnic.

My overall experience studying at Lincoln University is just fine. I will advice the students to forget everything else when you are studying as the study load is too much and if you relax too much then you might lag behind. I would also advice students to save as much money as you can because you do not know when you will be able to get a job after finishing your education. Just remember that you have the whole life to enjoy so for now you can sacrifice luxurious habits and concentrate on what you have come here for.
