Choosing to complete my Anthropology BAs at SUNY Plattsburgh was one of the best choices I made in my life (so far).
Filled with wonderful professors, advisors and a network of supportive friends I can call on for help (whether it be emotional or academic), I really feel like I made the best out of my time here. 
In addition to the great people you meet, you'll be taken aback by the sheer beauty of the North Country. From the lakes to the mountains and everything in between, it's always a pleasure to wake up in the morning, look out of your window and relish in the fact that you have the opportunity to live in such a picturesque location.
I graduate in a few months and can honestly say that my experience here was both one of a kind and irreplaceable!

I am currently a student in Suny Plattsburgh. I am majoring in MIS and business admin while minoring in computer security. i am an international student from Ethiopia. I came to Plattsburgh during fall 2017 ever since then i have fallen in love with Suny Plattsburgh.  it has been a great experience. I've made great friends. my professors are very helpful and nice.

You can't have a better place to experience American life and studies.

My experience in SUNY Plattsburgh started in August 2015.  Going from my home in Cameroon and suddenly find myself in a total different world was scary at first. Luckily, Plattsburgh is a welcoming and lovely environment made up of wonderful people who make sure you don't feel lonely and discriminated while you're studying and living on campus.  
I faced so many challenges,but the most difficult one was the language. Coming from a different country, I had to upgrade my English and most importantly my accent. It was totally different from others and people couldn't get me easily during a speech or conversation. Fortunately for me, Plattsburgh  has wonderful instructors who helped me to improve my English and today I feel much more confident when interacting with other students.

My time at SUNY Plattsburgh has been great. The college offers a wide variety of majors where to choose from, with high quality professors that make your learning experience unique. The resources available to help you throughout your college experience are countless. There are dozens of clubs and organizations as well, which help you to grow both as a professional and as a person, and where you can meet people from all over the world. The college is located only a few hours away from major cities such Montreal, Boston and NYC. You can also take advantage of the beautiful Adirondacks to do some outdoor activities.

Finding home in the North Country

I started school here at Plattsburgh back in the fall of 2015. I was very anxious as to how a completely new environment in a new country would come to be, and I can gladly say that I have never looked back. The whole campus community, and especially the Global Education Office have been the best support system that I could ask for. I would highly recommend Plattsburgh to anyone who wants to grow not only as a scholar but also a leader.

I have been attending SUNY Plattsburgh since my freshman year and I have never regretted coming to SUNY Plattsburgh. The professors, courses, staffs at the Global Education Office (in charge of international students' admissions), environment and the cost are some of the main reasons why I would recommend SUNY Plattsburgh to others. The university welcomes students from overseas and I really appreciate this, especially as I am an international student myself. I am happy to be part of this community.

So glad I picked SUNY Plattsburgh to finish my studies.

So far my experience at SUNY Plattsburgh has been great. The students and faculty are really accepting and cooperative with the international students. The teachers are really experienced in their fields and are good at teaching. 

The clubs and activities around campus also helps make my experience so great! Although the whether can be quite cold sometimes, it opens up the doors to a lot of outdoor activities especially at the Adirondack Mountains.

SUNY Plattsburgh is an amazing campus with great people from all over the world.

I started here in Fall 2014 and I love my campus more and more everyday. All the department staff and professors are great and helpful. There are also a lot of fun organizations and clubs that you can join on campus. It is definitely a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
