I was looking for a place to do my PhD. Luckily, I got a full PhD scholarship from Swinburne. In fact, it was wonderful time over there to do my studies and enjoy Melbourne life. Swinburne is one of the best universities to join and have a very well organised infrastructure. If you are gonna join, please be cheerful to have it. Enjoy

My teachers were excellent and very helpful. I also loved being in Australia for my studies. 
it's a really good country to study in. I would definitely recommend Swinburne University to other students.

To me, things are not very good, but not too bad. I come to classes some days in the week, got a job to do and hang out with friends in my spare time, but you know, sometimes I still feel lonely when staying in my room, Melbourne is too quiet. Well, if somebody is thinking of coming to Swinburne for study, I would advise you to pay attention on your study. Hard working is good, but too much will make you stressed, just be serious when studying, things will be fine.

To me, things are not very good, but not too bad. I like doing my course because I like engineering, I like to create things, it has been enjoying experience. I would advise students to do their research before doing the course. Find out the course outline, and what they are going to learn, get to know with the subject. Swinburne is not an arts university in my personal opinion. If you after engineering, I suggest you study here…some of the teachers say that this university is the best in Melbourne.

I did my first year tafe in Australia and I think University degree is different with TAFE, its pretty hard. Unlike TAFE, University has big classes and Tafe have small classes which means that we can get feedback quite easily and more often. You will need to get prepared mentally to study at university, and your social skills need to be hone because it is the main gap between your success and failure in studying.

My uni is great and my life is fun filled. I am happy because my grades are quite good. I had to make a choice between Melbourne and Sydney. I chose Melbourne because I had heard that the atmosphere in Melbourne is Educational whereas in Sydney, there is more of an entertaining atmosphere. My parents fund me at present but I work part-time as well as I need to support myself. I want to work hard because I want a better future for myself

Throughout my three years experience of studying in Australia, I have learned a lot. I faced many hardships when I first came here. My study experience abroad has taught me to be tougher in handling my studies and problems occurred. Students should look for a university that really suits them. A good university is able to cater to students’ need.

it is nice to study abroad, it is a nice experience, be sure, australia have a lot asian, but select a good university is very important too, i cant tell my university is the best, it is not very popular, but my course most are local aussie, that why i can meet some local student as friend~ a aussie friend told me that what country u stay, what language u have to say, that is what encourage me stop speaking chinese with friends. get more information before u come, make sure u prepare well everything!
