It was a life changing experience

A lot depends on the friends circle too. I had a great friends circle and it was great fun. You meet people who are 100 times more smarter than you, which lets you understand your standards and start aiming for higher ones. I learnt about other cultures and people. In short it was a life changing experience.

Home away from home

"Pros:
- High-reputation school, good alumni network, good job prospect (especially on some individual majors, ie: architecture, IT, engineering, business, etc.)
- Great facilities (libraries, computer labs, etc)
- High school spirits, a lot of school activities to choose from
- Strong Greek life

Cons:
- Not a lot of scholarships and funding for international students, however if you have a green card/ citizenship, the school is very generous
- Consider weather, extremely cold and snowy
- Not a crowded city, unless you're 21 you don't really have much to do except house parties
- Transportation can be tough"
