Eye opening
The most important would be: live your life to the fullest. It may be a cliche but don't get drowned by assignment and stress. Just go out, explore Melbourne, and have fun!

Worthwhile pain
Join clubs, have a life, but also study hard. Might seem like a waste right now, but there’s light in the end of the dark tunnel.

Superb
Generally, I think University of Melbourne is a great university with superb facilities and it is ranked no. 44 in the world and no.1 in Australia ! Being a Biomed student, I'm pleased that this Uni has good relationship with several hospitals nearby , such as Royal Children Hospital , The Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital and etc . Also , it has a good reputation on biomedical research . Apart from boring lectures , the Uni clubs and societies here offer a variety of entertainments and social activities which you could involve in . In short , I highly recommend this university for anyone who is looking for a good Uni .

awesome and stressful
UoM is a very awesome university! nice facilities (fast internet and lots of libraries) and the teachers/lecturers are very helpful and nice. You can make an appoinment with them or email if you have questions! Lectures are always recorded (although some subjects, esp math subjects, aren't). However, you need to catch up with the subjects as there's only 3 months in one semester.

Learning to Learn
The university offers a wide range of subjects. This allows students to explore more outside their comfort zones. Excellent student centers provide any help you can think of (course advice, student equity adjustment procedure, etc) in order to assist the students to achieve their best regardless of any kind circumstances. One downside though is that as an international students, it can be quite burdensome financially. But you can get a part-time job one/two days per week! Overall, I never regret of the choice I made 3 years ago! I have learnt some much over the years and I'm still learning!
