Overall experience

School of medical sciences is the best

I have changed from Ma French to MSci in Sport and Exercise science with industrial placement and it was the best choice. The professors of School of Medicine and Medical sciences are really amazing, they go above and beyond to help you if you don't understand something and they really care to teach you critical thinking and all the necessary things actually needed in field of science. The uni has many sports clubs and societies, I was part of surf club and a teacher in dance society and it's been great. When you find your spot/hobby/niche, Aberdeen has things to offer. I certainly never got bored. The only thing I'd change is for the Sport science degree to be accredited by BACPR or BASEMS or similar organisations, or for it to be better connected towards these nowadays essential certifications. 
Even more exercise prescription and practical assessments would be great. That's a big issue that's missing. Or, it would be great to know about it during my studies so I could at least do some clinical hours observing/ shadowing. I feel like there has not been enough information about this or about the transition to professional life in general.

All round a very good little Uni

The campus is lovely, surrounded by quaint small businesses which give the Uni a nice local feeling. Even in winter, now, when it gets dark early, the campus' medieval buildings are lit up by bright lights.

The study experience here is good, now in my third year I get frequent graded assessments and group projects to participate in, which contribute to my overall grade as a whole. Whilst somewhat challenging, there is still plenty of time during the week for me to have a part time job and be active and on the committee of 2 societies. 

Already I have a job lined up for after I graduate, in a year and a half's time.

Tired study here

Study tasks are heavy here and require a lot of time every day to focus on study. You can easily get tired. Lecturers can have a strong accent that makes students hard to understand, especially from Glasgow, only students from Glasgow can take note during that class.

Choose ABERDEEN!

University of Aberdeen is nice. You can experience a lot here from study to life. The weather is cloudy here mostly. Supermarkets have a lot of goods to choose from. And you can adapt to this life well.

The overall experience here is just ok. It's quite easy to enter University of Aberdeen. Funding and Scholarship is hard for international students. Study experience is ok here, though some lecturer has a very strong accent that we can't understand at all.

Life here is so boring and it is inconvenient to live here. Nothing is here. It's remote and have nothing to broaden horizon. I don't enjoy my life here. After all, study experience is fine here.

Go to a big city

If you want to study aboard, it is better to go to a big city in which you can experience more and make your life more convenient. For example, you can go shopping, eating outside and attend more events and conferences. But this is quite hard in Aberdeen. But it still have some advantages, like you can focus on study.

Aberdeen can make you focus on study.

Aberdeen city itself is quite boring on one hand. On the other hand, this can make you focus more on study instead of going out and play a lot. University of Aberdeen is a peaceful place and it's beautiful as well.
