Be prepared to study hard because you could only get into 2nd year by getting a B+ average. The degree only allowed students to resit the course for 2 times in maximum out of the 4 years degree. The course was well structured and most of the lecturers are very knowledgable and nice.

Calling those who care about the future generation!

I am finishing my third year of study and have found the University of Auckland, Faculty of Education to be completely supportive of my studies. In the main, Lecturers are approachable and helpful and course content has challenged my thinking and taken me out of my comfort zone. I have thoroughly enjoyed my overall experience even though at times it drives me insane!! i appreciate the learning that is taking place. Epsom campus is a very family friendly, small and homely campus and i actually kind of sad to think that im almost done! haha

A thrilling experience

I applied for admission to many universities in the UK, Australia and New Zealand but only got a response from University of Auckland. I never expected to come to New Zealand for my studies but had to. I was not thrilled about coming to New Zealand and did not have any great expectations because it is too far from the rest of world. The people around me started filling me in about all the good and bad in New Zealand and I was upset as there were more negative arguments. Unexpectedly, it turned out to be much better than I was told. I have met the nicest people of the world here in New Zealand in the form of caring professors and experience a great atmosphere which may not be compared to any other country.

This is a really reputable university in New Zealand and I believe top 20 in the world. I could be wrong here. As a student, I really enjoy it here as the university provides so many facilities to assist students to excel. The amount of resources found in few different libraries on campus is very satisfying knowing what you paid is for high quality education.
