Studying at Kent - greatest experience of my life.

I loved studying at Kent, firstly, because of the beautiful surroundings and the city. Secondly, I never had any problems communicating with university on every level starting with Student Union and ending with Faculty representatives and supervisors. Application process at Kent was really simple, however, I would suggest to apply as early as possible as the spots fill up pretty fast. Academic and social culture was rich for me even as a postgraduate student, the great variety of events, guest lectures, subjects and seminars created a great space for studying, expanding the knowledge on particular interests, relaxing and getting to know new people. Facilities (both study and accommodation) at Kent get modernized all the time and are in a good state. The biggest challenge for me was writing of the MA thesis, lucky I had lots of great and helpful academic staff around me that would help me with any questions I had ASAP. In conclusion, I would definitely suggest studying at Kent, it has been the greatest experience so far.

A perfect place and program for my last year of study

it was a very nice experience to stay at UKC while doing my MA. The university has amazing facilites comparing to my home uni in Paris. teaching staff was always very dedicated and I had the possibility to taylor a program just for myself. The international community is so huge that you don't even feel as a foreigner once you've started to meet people from all countries.

Uni Of Kent Review

The University of Kent is located in the South East region of England. It is situated on top of a hill overlooking the small town of Canterbury (very famous for its cathedral). The university has around 20000 students who come from all over the world which allows international students to quickly adapt and find adequate friends to socialize and study with. This is definitely an aspect that I very much enjoyed as it made the transition much easier. Other than its well organized and structured academic system, the University of Kent also has amazing sports facilities. This is another aspect which I enjoy quite a lot as I am able to play my favorite sports on a daily basis. One negative aspect is the seriousness of the sports teams which, in comparison to my old school, lacks quite a bit. Overall the University of Kent is a great place which has already taught lots of lessons and will hopefully continue to do so in the future.

University of Kent Review

The University of Kent is located in the small town, Canterbury. Located at the top of the hill, it is known for it's wonderful view, particularly of the Cathedral. Although sports aren't prevalent or serious in British universities (unlike American universities), there are a vast number of different sports and societies to be a part of, and all sports facilities are brand new and equipment is all updated. With the multiple bars widespread on campus (in each college) and its on campus club, Venue, the events are endless; social events occur nightly. For study purposes, the library has long opening hours and most colleges provide an area for private study. The university is known for its high percentage of graduates that find jobs within 6 months after graduation, and offer a year in industry and year abroad programme. Finally, the campus has several restaurants and has the largest on campus super market in the UK.
