You can find others great university in UK, but only in University of Nottingham you will feel that you were at home. Friends come from a hundred of countries and the local students are very welcome to us. The university itself has great facilities to support our researches. The lecturers always have time if we want have discussion after the classes and they always have answers for all our questions. The last one is you can’t find other city in UK as homely as Nottingham.

Getting new learning method

University of Nottingham would forced you to break your limit. The students cannot just attend, sit and listen the lecture. However, you need to spend your time to read and to gain everything material for upgrading the knowledge and finishing the course work. Making new friends is also important to broaden a link in whole of country.

Studying Abroad

Studying in the UK is one of the biggest dream I ever had. People may think that it's incredibly amazing to study abroad, being on your own in another country. Well, that is true. I really enjoy my experience out of my home town. I learn so much about being independent and confident. I met a lot of people from another countries and they are all really nice. In the university, they have different method of studying. As students, we are expected to participate actively in class. The lecturers are very helpful and they also ensure the students to think critically about the subjects matter. Overall, it is a great experience for me to study in the UK and a big opportunity as well to have network around the world.

It's a really amazing experience studying in this campus. The university is huge and the hopper bus is easy and convenient to use. I like how the facilities are maintained in terms of cleanliness and quality. And there's variety of clubs and societies which is really interesting.

Widening up my perspective

The best part of studying in Nottingham is meeting up with people around the world. I meet people with diverse background, telling me about their experiences and socio-economic conditions back home. Lecturers were passionate of their specialised field and make it easier for us to understand complicated concepts. To other future students who are considering to enroll in this course and have no background in economics, I'd say go for it! I didn't feel disadvantaged when it comes to learning concepts as compared to my peers who have the background. Many of our modules are 100 % exam based so start studying right from the start of the semester.

What I love most about my university is the atmosphere and all. Not forgetting the nice buildings, people, and that convenience to travel to city for shopping! Besides that, I really love my course, which also implies that I love the structure and style of how the lectures and modules are delivered. :)

University of Nottingham is undoubtedly one of the best universities in the United Kingdom. Everything in the university is par excellence. Learning about a subject is of course one thing a student does in a University but the best part here is the mix of students from various parts of the world, name a country and you should find a student from there in the University of Nottingham. Learning about cultures from around the globe is truly an exhilarating experience. Though Nottingham is not a mega city, one cannot find a single thing missing from this city. A bustling city center, a vibrant night life, an excellent transport system ( and yes we have a great tram system!), pleasant weather all throughout the year, one cannot ask for more.

UNotts is a student's place to be

There is no shortage of things to do at UNotts. In addition to a rigorous study routine, there are plenty of opportunities to engage in experiences that will enhance your life and prospects after graduation. From various societies, to internship opportunities, to voluntary groups, there is plenty here that will ensure you have the best study experience ever. The student life is great and there is plenty for students to do during their downtime. Making friends is not too bad either. This Uni is very nice, but never mistake that the work is easy, you gain a depth of knowledge from your courses and are expected to show that. That's why this university is good for academics, though the student life is definitely a plus.

As a 2+2 student from the Malaysian campus, I was really pleased with the location of the university in Nottingham, UK. The nearest town Beeston is within walking distance; buses to and from Beeston and the city are frequent, plus the university provides free hopper bus service to the city on weekends. 
There are wide ranges of eateries, supermarkets for grocery shopping, budget-friendly stores, various shops in the city to meet your needs. Also, I thought travelling from Nottingham to other places is really convenient with buses, trains, and plane (East Midlands Airport). 
With the Unipol service and many others, it is not hard to find suitable off-campus accommodation. Just be sure you know which campus and faculty you will be based at. 
Overall, thumbs up from me for the student-friendly location of UoN. As an international student, this certainly contributed positively to my university experience.
