A New Chapter of Life in the University of Sunderland

I had been given an opportunity to become a student ambassador in the University of Sunderland. I enjoy working as a team with other ambassadors to promote the university. I also assist during the university open days to share my student experience to the parents and students. By becoming a student ambassador, I met a lot of new friends and gained valuable experiences. Besides, I had been given an opportunity to take part in the filming of my course. My lecturers are also being supportive whenever I meet any difficulties in my studies. It is definitely a life-changing experience to study in the University of Sunderland.

The degree I'm doing is of an excellent quality. The facilities and the staff are absolutely amazing. Moreover, the job prospects are amazing and I already have a part time graduate job in the industry, before even graduating. 
If you ever in two minds whether to study abroad: get in touch with current students and they will happily advice you.

My university, a life changing experience

The university has offered a lot of opportunities to help student to improve themselves. I see myself improved and changed throughout my university life, from someone who is timid and lack of confidence to a  motivated and confident student through the support given by my university. My university offers free one to one interview training and workshops to enhance students' confidence in presenting themselves before future employers, and provides many volunteering or paid opportunities so that student can enrich our experiences and improves employability skills. I would say I owe to university in this, for all the trainings I get for succeeded in obtaining a placement throughout my course of study. Many facilities such as the gyms, library, student union and the labs are fabulous. The library prepares silent study zones and discussion rooms, and increases all these services during exam period make this university to have such a study environment that helps me to focus and scores in my exam. Activities organized by the Student Union always help student to relax in this stressful study life by offering free sports afternoon,  trip to visit many places, free movie nights and so on. If anyone would like to study in my university, I would say, 'Do not let any opportunity slip out from your hand and you will find the experience studying in this university is a life changing one'

I personally enjoy being able to work and study with multinational team at uni. Therefore the lecturers are always ready to help. My advices to someone thinking of studing at University of Sunderland will be:

- check for scholarships available
-join a society
- make an impact through voluntary work

- try to get the best from the time spent at uni

I receive a lot of support and help from my lecturers. The staff and students here are very friendly and I make friends easily. University of Sunderland has the most up to date technology and facilities. The course prepare me better for the outside world with equipped knowledge and skills.

Certainly one of the best university experience.

It is definitely a worthwhile experience to study in this university. University staffs are friendly and helpful, exactly what the students need. The facilities provided by the University is top notch - library service, lecturer halls, laboratories, even their gym! The hall of residence with the student residential support was excellent. Student union is a very active organisation and the activities are often beneficial to students. It is in a small town of Sunderland, a quiet but lovely place. If you are from overseas and eager to put yourself in a fantastic mixture of multicultural experience and local English courtesy, University of Sunderland is definitely one of the choice that you cannot miss out.

UoS-the choice!

It's my second year in the university of Sunderland and i do not regret! My lecturers are friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. I like the nature at this part where there's less industries and more fresh air and green patches of land.
Sunderland might be small but it is adequate on its own. For those who seek more, there's always Newcastle which is approximately half an hour by metro. 
For international students who cannot afford the expensive tuition fees and living expenses in other parts of the UK, university of Sunderland would be a good choice especially for mpharm course!
