Leeds Arts University has roots dating back to 1846 when its predecessor was established as the Leeds School of Art. Over the last 170 years, the university has made a significant contribution to arts education in the UK. Leeds Arts University’s courses are internationally recognised and its state-of-the-art resources and libraries are second to none. All of the buildings on campus have been purposefully designed for specialist education in the arts. Dedicated course studios for specific disciplines are complemented by open working areas for students to meet, work and socialise. The university has over 50 different nationalities on campus giving it a multicultural atmosphere. The university’s Careers & Employability Team provides advice, guidance, events and workshops to prepare students for life after university.
