ONCAMPUS Reading is a partnership between the University of Reading and ONCAMPUS. It offers high-quality undergraduate and master’s preparation programmes for overseas students.
International students can prepare for degree-level study across all subjects including business, engineering, humanities, life sciences and, art and design. The university was ranked 18th in the UK for Art & Design by the Guardian University Guide in 2018.
Programmes are delivered either on Reading’s main campus, or on the historic ONCAMPUS base in London, one of the university’s original campuses. It has recently been transformed into a modern, inspiring teaching environment that reflects the needs of industry.
Art and Design UFP and master’s pathways are delivered at Reading’s beautiful award-winning Whiteknights campus. It’s home to top facilities including two on-site museums, a fully-equipped fitness centre, cafes, bars, a concert hall and a 24-hour library that houses over one million books. The queen even visited the university's wonderful Greenland campus during the 2012 Diamond Jubilee celebrations.
Humanities, business, life sciences and engineering UFP pathway programmes are offered at the ONCAMPUS centre in the heart of London.
After enrolling at ONCAMPUS Reading, students are assigned a personal tutor, who acts as their first point of call for any problems during their studies. Several orientation activities and events are held, such as faculty visits and campus tours, to ensure students feel integrated and are set for a smooth progression to the University of Reading.
Students then benefit from plenty of attentive support throughout their programmes, ranging from help with improving English language skills to guidance when developing a portfolio.

International students can choose from two main study options at ONCAMPUS Reading. They can then progress to one of the selected undergraduate or postgraduate degree programmes. These programmes help students develop their academic and English language skills as well as prepare them for degree-level study.
International students who have already completed their senior secondary education can study the UFP. Upon successful completion, they can automatically progress to undergraduate study at the University of Reading. It’s at NQF level three, which is the same as A-Level standard in the UK.

International students who have finished undergraduate level study can pursue the Master’s Foundation Programme. Upon successful completion, they can automatically progress to postgraduate study at the University of Reading.

Students must fill in the online application or download the editable application form.
They must meet the entry requirements, and send all relevant documentation, including academic transcripts (with translations if not originally in English), evidence of English language proficiency, and a copy of their passport.
The Admissions Team will review the student’s application. Successful students will then be sent an offer letter which will list any outstanding conditions.
To accept their place on a course, students will need to meet all the remaining conditions, including payment of the deposit/registration fee or proof of sponsorship.
International students also need to provide additional evidence to comply with visa regulations.
Once students have paid the deposit and met all the offer conditions, their place will be confirmed and they will be sent a CAS (Confirmation of Acceptance to Study) or a Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE).
Students will then need to apply for a visa.
Students will need to pay at least the first term’s tuition fees before they begin their programme of study at ONCAMPUS.

There are plenty of excellent facilities that ONCAMPUS students have access to during their time at the University of Reading. On the Whiteknights campus, this includes a variety of shops, the Students’ Union, many dining options and a library that is open 24/7.
Campus Central is a convenience store that is open every day during term time. It provides takeaway food options that suit many dietary preferences and requirements as well as bus tickets, university merchandise, lottery tickets and stamps.
The SportsPark is based on the Whiteknights campus. It’s home to many indoor and outdoor facilities, such as squash courts, tennis courts, rugby pitches, football pitches, tennis courts, volleyball courts, lacrosse pitches, American football pitches and more. There are also fitness spaces where students can benefit from the cardiovascular zone and resistance zone.
