Plumpton College

Plumpton College is one of the leading centres for land-based education in the UK. Through the mid- 1990s, the college added a range of course, including Foundation Degrees and a BSc. Today, Plumpton is home to more than 1200 full-time students plus several thousand part-time students There are also 120 students living on-site in the college’s fantastic accommodation facilities. Plumpton College now has a dairy herd of over 250 cows, 1,000 sheep and 130 sows, in addition to more than 60 horses and a wide range of animals and livestock in their excellent animal care centre. On the horticultural side, the college’s site has been developed to include greenhouses and excellent practical workshop facilities, including a superb commercial winery that enables students to study in first class facilities.
