All non-UK students will be eligible to receive an annual non-repayable bursary to help support the cost of tuition fees. The bursary amount will depend on which course is studied.
Scholarships offered at the University of Law are given in accordance with academic achievements, extracurricular activities, or wider participation in the community. In order to receive a scholarship, applicants are required to have an offer from a course at ULaw and to satisfy entry criteria for the scholarship being applied to.
For admission to The University of Law, international students need to satisfy several entry requirements.
Most students will need to prove English language proficiency before starting a course at ULaw. This can be through an English language qualification, which will need to meet the university’s minimum requirements. Students are strongly advised to check the eligibility requirements.
Those who have an academic qualification that is equivalent to a UK degree and was taught in a predominantly English-speaking country may not have to prove their English language proficiency.
Students who need to improve their English language levels to qualify for a ULaw course can study the 7–12-week pre-sessional English course.
Students must also check the visa they will need to study at ULaw. The university provides support for receiving a Confirmation of Acceptance of Studies (CAS) if they require a Student Route visa.

A range of the university’s business master’s programmes include the option to complete an extended nine-monthoptional industry work placement. Supported by of up to 12 months which can be undertaken on the Careersuniversity’s undergraduate and Employability Team, the workpostgraduate programmes.
This placement enables students to put into practice the academic learning alongside practical experience to enhance their professional opportunities. The work placement is the last module of the programme and includes a work-based research project.future employability prospects. During the placement, students will be undertaking work as an employee of an organisation and will be treated as such.
