The University of York International Pathway College (IPC) offers courses for international students who aspire to study at the University of York, but whose academic or English language credentials do not meet the standard entry requirements. The college also provides a pre-sessional English course for those who hold unconditional offers to help them settle into life at York. Courses at the University of York IPC are run in conjunction with Kaplan International Pathways, and they aim to improve a student’s academic and English language skills, with the aim of helping the student progress onto a degree course. Students can opt for the International Foundation or Pre-Masters, as per their requirement, if they don't meet the entry requirements for a course at York. The IPC offers students pathway options in subject areas such as Business and Finance, Computing Science, Engineering, Humanities, Interactive Media, Law and Social Sciences, Life Science, Biomedicine, Mathematics, Economics and much more.
