Butler Community College was founded in 1927 in El Dorado, Kansas. The two-year, co-educational college carries a proud tradition in academics, athletics and service to the communities it serves, and impacts the lives of over 13,000 students annually. Butler Community College is now the second largest community college in Kansas and the sixth largest educational institution in the state overall, with more than 13,000 students from around the world seeking a new career, enjoying and benefiting from the college’s small classes and nurturing environment.
