In 2018 and 2019, Felician University was ranked the number one safest college campus in New Jersey, according to niche.com. The data came from the U.S. Department of Education (which included campus crime statistics and the local crime grade) as well as student reviews.

The university recently partnered up with the Italian Culture on the Net (ICoN, a group of 18 Italian universities). Going into effect this academic year, ICoN will help the university develop its Italian programs, from basic language courses to dual degrees and masters. Students will also be given the opportunity to minor in Italian and attend one-to-two-week placements in Italy. This new partnership will enrich the educational experience of students and contribute to the overall globalization of the university.

The university has also recently added new facilities, including a new gaming room, which accommodates up to 20 students. It includes five desktops with 30- inch monitors and Corsair gaming keyboards. There are also two console stations and room for other computer equipment, so students can bring in their own consoles.
