Beginning Fall 2021, Maryville University offers a bachelor’s in Computer Science. This additional program will help students gain skills in emerging technologies like data science, artificial intelligence, software development, cybersecurity, blockchain, robotics, and user experience.
Maryville University will add men’s volleyball and women’s field hockey to its NCAA sport offerings. This brings Maryville’s total number of NCAA sports to 25. Maryville University has been recognized for its high-tech learning environment for the second time by being named an Apple Distinguished School for 2018-2021.

Several scholarships are available for incoming freshman students, sponsored by professional groups, fraternal organizations or companies. All students who meet the stated requirements for automatic scholarships will be awarded them appropriately. GPA is cumulative and based on a 4.0 scale. Maryville does not use the writing section of the ACT and SAT when considering scholarships.
Maryville University requires a minimum 2.5 GPA for undergraduate admission and is a test-optional institution. Program-specific requirements may apply.
