New York Film Academy

New York Film Academy (NYFA) was founded in 1992 on the premise that “learning by doing” combined with best industry practices is preferable to years of theoretical study for film and media studies. Today, NYFA is a global institution with campuses in New York City, Los Angeles, Miami, and two outside the USA, in Gold Coast, Australia and Florence, Italy. All of NYFA’s campuses are modern spaces with state-of-the-art classrooms, editing rooms, and shooting spaces. NYFA’s hands-on approach gives students the confidence to pursue their goals as performing artists while preparing for real-world challenges in film, media, television, and entertainment. From day one of their course at NYFA, students receive the practical training and mentorship that allows them to develop creative and technical expertise, as well as rigorous training in communication, collaboration, and critical thinking skills.
