South Dakota State University (SDSU) is the state’s largest, most comprehensive higher education institution. SDSU had a fall 2023 enrolment of 11,505, with students arriving from 48 states and 74 countries. At SDSU, students can choose from 88 majors, 38 specializations, 104 minors, and 39 master’s degree programs. The university also offers 16 Ph.D. programs and two professional doctorates. Students are challenged and supported at SDSU, which offers plenty of campus activities for students. Student life is vibrant and dynamic thanks to the multitude of SDSU events.
