UMBC is ranked 1st in undergraduate teaching quality. I have studied with many incredible professors while being here. We have lots of students from Asia countries such as Korea, Vietnam, China, Taiwan, Burma, India....they are all smart and competitive. Therefore, I have to work really hard to maintain a good GPA. Many people say it's even harder studying here than in College Park (top 20 university in the U.S) or even in other grad schools. However, If u can get admitted to UMBC and leave this school with a good final GPA, u can absolutely do well in most grad schools show less
