About Griffith

Griffith University was created to be a different kind of university – challenging conventions, responding to trends and pioneering solutions through innovative teaching and research. Griffith’s high quality degrees are specifically designed to prepare students for the future, and are developed in consultation with industry, based on cutting-edge research, and taught by Australia’s most awarded teachers.

Griffith hosts 50,000 students across five campuses in South East Queensland, spanning three major cities (Gold Coast, Logan and Brisbane). Students choose Queensland not only for the quality education, but for its superb subtropical climate, welcoming environment and mixture of natural wonders and vibrant city life.

Since its beginning, Griffith has been deeply connected to the Asian region, environmentally aware, open to the community and industry focused. Always ahead of its time, Griffith introduced Australia’s first degrees in a range of important areas, including modern Asian studies and environmental science.

I decided to study at Griffith because of the proximity to home, the cheaper living expenses in Queensland, and the fact that I could complete my Masters of Marketing in one year. Griffith provides a good academic environment and culture and has well equipped resources and facilities. The campuses are quiet and peaceful and the staff are friendly. I would advice the future students to know what you want before coming to Australia, always prioritise your goals and objectives, be open minded, and give yourself enough time outside study for recreational activities. show less

I chose Griffith because of its high standards and high ranking in Australia and the world. Griffith has been very hospitable to me and the staff have been friendly, caring and enthusiastic. The programs facilities and resources available to students are top quality. I believe that the research that I will do here will help me to apply my skills in addressing the treatment and clinical management of breast cancer in the South Pacific. show less
