What will I learn?

Our Bachelor of Business Administration is an international qualification that develops broad business knowledge, covering essential business areas such as marketing, finance, human resources, project management and strategic management.

Cross-skilling in these areas will ensure you become a highly adaptive graduate, ready to work in a dynamic environment and pivot to the needs of industry. You’ll be aware of global trends and prepared for employment in all sectors, with a diverse skillset that employers will value.

The course provides a distinct student experience - you’ll identify your preferred career area and develop a personalised plan that will guide you throughout your degree, helping you develop a portfolio of skills and capabilities that strategically align with your career goals.

The course starts with a business foundation year, where you will explore value creation in business, learn to use financial information to make informed and responsible decisions, and develop your business intelligence and analytical capabilities to interpret data in a meaningful way.

Following on from this, you’ll complete management foundation units aligned to global trends. You’ll develop skills across marketing, finance, human resources, project management and strategic management. In addition to the core curriculum, you’ll study three career-focused specialisations (minors) that suit your aspirations – two business specialisations plus the choice of another business specialisation or one from outside the business discipline. This gives you the freedom to your degree and enhance your marketability when you graduate.

In your final year, you’ll undertake your Capstone Experience.

Capstone Experience

Gain real-world, practical skills through your Capstone Experience*. Choose one of the four options below.

Together you will solve a problem or advance an innovation while demonstrating your managerial judgement, professional communications and your commitment to responsible business practice.
