What will I learn?

Finance involves decision making regarding money, financial assets and real assets. Companies, individuals, banks and governments all need to utilise financial skills to invest, save, borrow and lend. These skills are needed to value shares, decide on corporate investments and provide funding to sustainable and green projects that tackle climate change. You will also undertake a final-year capstone subject that lets you apply everything you have learned in collaboration with students from other disciplines. Plus, you have the option of applying for an internship to gain valuable experience whilst receiving credit towards your degree. The finance major is also accredited by the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Institute.
