What will I learn?

Develop your skills in reporting and storytelling, focusing on multimedia content creation and multi-platform publication with a journalism major at UOW.From day one you will work on sourcing and developing stories, as you produce multimedia materials (including text, audio, video, photography and graphics) for publication across social channels and online platforms. At the same time, you will learn the ways in which journalism is changing, why media laws and ethics are important, and how new storytelling formats, such as podcasts and web-series, are changing the way we learn about and engage with the world around us.
