The Telecommunications engineering and Internet of Things (IoT) major deals with large-scale data networks, such as the internet and other devices and systems that represent, store and transmit analog and digital information. This includes data transmission, equipment, customer access technology, analog and digital radio and television systems, satellite communications, global navigation, mobile communications and remote sensing/telemetry systems.
Additionally, it delves into IoT technologies, seamlessly integrating interconnected and integrated computing devices, machines, and objects to identify, track, and manage data effectively. You will study data, voice and video communications, transmission through wireless and wired media, predicting and modelling communication systems performance, and detecting or correcting errors in transmission.
