Information Systems could be for you if you want to drive business, innovation and decision-making by harnessing cutting-edge technologies and systems thinking. The Information Systems major uses IT skills and knowledge to identify organisational requirements and design effective and innovative IT systems solutions. It can include supporting managers and users to analyse their needs, developing data and process models to guide system design, testing and implementing enterprise-wide systems and services, and working with large database applications and emerging technologies to deliver organisational digital transformation initiatives.The Information Systems major gives you the knowledge and skills of an IT professional to shape future industries. You will develop expertise in understanding information technology capabilities and implications and proficiency in best-of-breed methods, techniques, and tools to improve and innovate the work of individuals and organisations.
