Bachelor of International Studies (3 years) - Global Leadership and Communication

Australia

What will I learn?

In a world shaped by global challenges, shifting alliances and rapid change, the skills to connect and influence across cultures are essential. Leadership is an art and a science – it shapes how people collaborate, navigate differences and resolve conflict amid complexity. Building trust, facilitating dialogue and making decisions that reflect shared values are crucial. Drawing on diplomacy, narrative strategy, foresight and organisational theory, effective leaders inspire people to embrace change, seize opportunities and create lasting impact.

In the Global Leadership and Communication major, you’ll learn to communicate with purpose, forecast emerging issues and apply practical leadership tools to real-world challenges. Through simulations, live projects and case studies, you’ll develop a globally relevant toolkit for leading ethically and adaptively. You’ll build your own transcultural strengths while working with diverse partners, refining your capacity to negotiate, problem-solve and act with foresight in evolving international environments.
