What will I learn?

This Combined Bachelor's and Master's (CBM) is a four-year accelerated program for those with an ATAR of 90 or above. Over the first three years you’ll complete an extended major in Biochemistry of Nutrition, and some units from the Master of Biomedical Science. You can then choose to exit after three years with an Advanced Bachelor's Degree in Molecular Sciences, or continue with the Master of Biomedical Science and be awarded a Bachelor of Molecular Sciences and a Master of Biomedical Science at the end of the four years.Nutritional biochemistry takes a scientific approach to nutrition. It focuses on nutrient chemical components, and how they function metabolically, physiologically, biochemically as well as their impact on disease.

To be eligible to UWA based on previous or current Australian Year 12 studies, applicants must have completed the relevant state Certificate of Education .PrerequisitesThis major requires:Mathematics Methods ATAR; ORMathematics Applications ATAR with a mathematics unit taken in the first year; ORStudents without ATAR mathematics to take two mathematics units in their first year.Chemistry ATAR or an additional chemistry unit taken in the first year. .International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB) - 30 .ATAR - 90
