What will I learn?

The Bachelor of Music provides advanced training across a variety of musical disciplines. Students major in Composition, Interactive Composition, Jazz & Improvisation, Musicology & Ethnomusicology, Music Studies, or Performance.The program develops technically advanced and experienced musicians through an immersive and practical curriculum with music core studies, music electives and complementary breadth subjects. The Music Studies major is the most flexible pathway within the Bachelor of Music. If your interests extend beyond a particular focus of performance, composition or scholarship, this program equips you with portable, practical and collaborative skills applicable to a range of music-related careers, while allowing you to pursue your individual interests.Careers in: Music StudiesThe Music Studies Major is the most flexible pathway within the Bachelor of Music and so offers more career paths than you can imagine, including: Arts administration, Music journalism, Project management, Running orchestras and other major ensemble groups
