Bachelor of Pharmaceutics and Therapeutic Science / Doctor of Pharmacy

Australia

What will I learn?

Be at the forefront of the ever-evolving pharmacy and healthcare landscape when you gain 2 qualifications in just 5 years with this vertical dual degree.

Graduate with the skills to dispense and prescribe medications, and get ready to make a real difference at the frontline of healthcare as a registered pharmacist.

You’ll learn from recognised leaders in the field at our world-class, purpose-built facility that includes simulated dispensaries and pharmacies, wet laboratories, and the Health Sciences library.

Starting in your second year, you’ll undertake more than 700 hours of supervised clinical placement in a range of settings, including hospital and community pharmacies, before completing compulsory intern training in years 4 and 5 of study.

Choose to major in Clinical and Experimental Therapeutics and complete an extensive research project as part of a research team. Possible research areas include drug discovery, diabetes education, Indigenous healthcare, pain management, cancer treatment and palliative care.
