Bachelor Honours Degrees prepare students to develop advanced knowledge and skills for professional work, research and further learning corresponding to AQF level 8 qualifications. This course develops originality and independence of thought and trains students in research. It is the preferred route for students proceeding to a higher degree. Additionally, this course broadens knowledge and provides exposure to the latest developments in biomedical research, thereby enhancing employment prospects. Graduates from honours have a more fully developed and more complex set of research skills that make them more attractive to employers.
