What will I learn?

Follow your passion for food to create a rewarding career in one of Australia’s largest industries. We integrate theory with practice. Learn about the scientific composition of foods and the chemical reactions that take place during processing. Study key aspects in the development of food products and develop your expertise in food preservation, processing operations, quality assurance and consumer product testing. You'll then have the opportunity to apply your knowledge and build your industry connections with work placements at leading food manufacturing organisations. You'll be prepared to work in areas such as product development, quality assurance and food safety, food microbiology, research and development, food standards and policy or sales and marketing.
