What will I learn?

Combine health knowledge with innovative project delivery and management. This double degree provides you with a competitive edge in global health by merging expertise in health sciences, big data and business innovation. The course’s unique blend of health, data and business disciplines will develop your understanding of key health issues and equip you to deliver and manage innovative projects effectively, contributing to the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.You’ll work closely with community and industry partners to develop innovative solutions to public health challenges and build on your critical thinking, leadership and teamwork skills. You’ll also examine the importance of ethical decision-making in professional health practice. As a graduate, you could find work as an entrepreneur, a developer, manager or consultant in diverse health professions and research areas. This course blends health sciences with best practices in innovation – and is the first degree of its kind in Australia. In the practical units, you’ll have opportunities to connect with industry and build your skills and network.

Entry requirements

For international students

To apply for entry into this course, you must have met:

  • the course ATAR (Australian Tertiary Academic Rank) or equivalent recognised overseas qualification
  • ATAR - 70
  • Completion of Australian Year 12 (VCE, HSC, QCE, WACE, SACE, TCE, NTCE, ACT) with a minimum Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) of 70; and a scaled mark of at least 50 in English, Literature, or English as an Additional Language or Dialect.
  • International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma - 24
  • Prerequisite subjects - Essential subjects - Mathematics and one science subject from the following list: biology, chemistry, earth and environmental science, human biology, integrated science, physics or psychology.

*There may be different IELTS requirements depending on your chosen course.
