What will I learn?

The Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) is the highest award you can earn at the tertiary level and is offered at Bond by all Faculties. An internationally recognised award, it is your opportunity to add to society’s body of knowledge relating to your specialist field of expertise and is internationally recognised as a significant career and personal achievement. Over the three to four-year candidature of your PhD, you will be an esteemed member of Bond’s close-knit Higher Degree by Research (HDR) community where you will be supported by a team of academic and professional staff. We operate a team approach to supervision with each PhD candidate supported by a Principal Supervisor and Associate Supervisors who offer expertise in a specific aspect of your project. You’ll work closely together and it’s not unusual for supervisors and candidates to be co-authors in publications resulting from the student’s dissertation. Through our dedicated HDR Unit, you’ll receive administrative support as well as access to training and funding for expenses related to conference presentations and project costs. Your faculty will support you by providing you with your own assigned workspace with lockable storage and technical computing support.
