Entry requirements

For international students

To be eligible for entry, you'll needa bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in health or social work, plus 1 years full-time equivalent relevant work experience in a mental health setting, ora bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in any discipline, plus 2 year full-time equivalent relevant work experience in a mental health setting, ora Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma in Mental Health from UQ, plus 5 years full-time equivalent relevant work experience in a mental health setting. You must have a grade point average (GPA) of 4.0 on a 7-point scale in your previous qualification.For the Art Therapy field of study, you'll also needto meet the Art Practice entrance standard, andto meet the Clinical Experience entrance standard, andto attend an interview, andhold a current Blue Card (working with children check) or equivalent professional registration before commencing the program, and retain for the duration of your enrolment in the program.
